Originally from the Lower Mainland and having lived in every region of the province,  I landed on Galiano in 2004 and couldn't believe my luck. The search for a rural coastal community that checked all the boxes in terms of weather, geography, and community was officially over and 20 years later, I wouldn't change a thing.
